g’s 1927 masterpiece Metropolis is the ultimate sci-fi pioneer—a tower
ing\, visually stunning epic of a dystopian world split in two. High above
\, wealthy elites live in breathtaking luxury\; deep below\, an army of op
pressed workers slave away to keep the city's massive heart beating. This
 isn't just a movie screening\; it’s a live sonic experience. Legendary s
ilent film pianist Peter Tavalin will accompany the film live\, bringing o
ver thirty years of improvisational mastery to the keyboard. Instead of th
e typical vintage piano tracks\, Peter utilizes a modern synthesizer to we
ave a gripping\, contemporary score that pulses seamlessly with the onscre
en action—heightening every dramatic twist\, comic beat\, and breathtaki
 ng visual.\n\nhttps://www.myboca.us/Calendar.aspx?EID=15698
